Overview
DayPath is a simple daily organizer built to help you stay focused without unnecessary complexity. DayPath Version 1.0 is local-first. No account is required, and your DayPath information is stored on your device.
Information DayPath stores on your device
DayPath may store information you enter or choose inside the app:
- Your local profile display name and optional email field
- Grocery list items
- Quick Notes and Tasks
- Errands, stops, visits, and optional addresses
- Calendar events and optional local reminder settings
- Appearance, reminder, and optional App Lock preferences
- Offline Guide conversation history retained by the app
This information is used to provide DayPath’s organizer features on your device.
Accounts, cloud sync, and third-party services
DayPath Version 1.0 does not require an account and does not include:
- Cloud sync or automatic cloud backup
- Google, Apple, or email/password sign-in
- Advertising, analytics, or tracking
- Google Maps integration or a cloud AI service
- Remote push-notification services
Calendar reminders use local device notifications only.
Optional manual backup and restore
You may choose Create Backup in DayPath Settings to save a copy of your profile, organizer entries, preferences, and Offline Guide history to a file location you select. You may later choose Restore Backup to replace the corresponding DayPath information on a device. App Lock is device-specific and is not restored from the file.
DayPath does not automatically upload backup files. If you choose a cloud drive or another third-party location in the device file picker, that provider’s privacy and security practices apply. Backup files are not separately encrypted by DayPath, so keep them in a private, trusted location.
Optional App Lock
If you enable App Lock, DayPath asks the operating system to authenticate you using an available method such as Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or your device passcode. DayPath receives only whether authentication succeeded. It does not receive or store biometric information or the device passcode.
App Lock controls access to the DayPath interface. It does not add separate encryption to locally saved DayPath information.
Sharing and selling
DayPath Version 1.0 does not sell app content and does not automatically share app content with advertisers, analytics providers, cloud AI services, or cloud storage providers. If you create a backup, you control its destination through the device file picker.
Notifications
If you enable a Calendar reminder, DayPath asks for notification permission. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Reminder sound and tone can be controlled in DayPath Settings. Vibration or haptic behavior follows the device’s settings and capabilities.
Deleting your data
You can remove DayPath information by deleting content inside the app where supported, clearing app data where your platform provides that option, or uninstalling DayPath. The saved Offline Guide conversation can be removed independently with Clear History; this does not delete organizer entries.
Uninstalling the app may remove locally stored DayPath data from that device.
Security and saved-data protection
DayPath is designed to keep Version 1.0 information on your device. Do not enter highly sensitive information into DayPath.
If DayPath cannot safely read a locally saved organizer area or Offline Guide history, it is designed to preserve the original stored value and pause editing in that affected area instead of silently replacing it. The app may direct you to restore a user-created backup or use a compatible update.
This policy does not claim that local DayPath data or backup files are encrypted beyond protections provided by the operating system or storage location.
Children’s privacy
DayPath is a general daily organizer and is not directed to children under 13. DayPath Version 1.0 does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Future changes
A future DayPath version may offer optional account-based cloud backup or sync. If that behavior is added, this policy will be updated before it ships and the app will explain the choice clearly. The effective date will be updated when this policy changes.
